The following groups are also associated with this sect; the Missionary Society of Saints Peter and Paul, the Dominus Iesus School of Theology, the Missionary Congregation of the Infant Jesus, and the Diocese of the Infant Jesus (Canada & Philippines).
Contrary to Old Roman praxis this sect uses exclusively the Novus Ordo rites. Also and entirely contrary to the Catholic faith and Apostolic tradition, this sect conducts same sex blessings/marriages.
Additionally, it is crucial to emphasize this sect has faced public scrutiny from the Catholic Church. Various Chancelleries have cautioned the Catholic faithful about the sect’s existence and of particular individual members across multiple dioceses.

This notorious character and his sect have been widely and publicly criticised by the Catholic Church for misrepresentation.
David Bell aka James Atkinson-Wake and the Roman Catholic Society of Pope Leo XIII and all organisations and institutions linked to it e.g. the Benedictines of Celestine Renewal, including the Igreja Católica Apostólica Brasileira (ICAB) were declared by Protocol No.1177/12 issued by Apostolic Nuncio, Giovanni D’Aniello on behalf of the Holy See’s Secretary of State, to be schismatic communities that have no status whatsoever in the Catholic Church which does not recognise the episcopal and priestly ordinations of its members.
The apostolic succession of the Igreja Católica Apostólica Brasileira has not been recognised by the Catholic Church since the mid-1970’s when investigations at the behest of Pope Paul VI at the instigation of the Conferência Nacional dos Bispos do Brasil determined serious problems with the sect’s rites, theology and thus conferral of sacraments.
